A busy week for Kent Wedding Toastmasters

What a busy week!

On Monday 12th March we met a lovely couple who are getting married at St Peters Church Thanet and having their wedding breakfast and reception at Quex Park Birchington. Your Kent Wedding Toastmasters are really looking forward to making their day special.

Tuesday 13th March took us to London to meet the Ambassador of the UK for the Confrerie du Sabre d’Or along with three Licensed Maitre Sabreurs. The meeting was held at the Lansdowne Club which was a perfect setting for a group of like minded people who enjoy champagne!

On Thursday 15th March we met with Vivienne from Quex in Birchington to discuss the finer details regarding a forthcoming wedding – great venue and a great team.

Kent Toastmasters then travelled to Sandwich in Kent to see the Guildhall. We were amazed at the space that is on offer for receptions as well as the impressive court house that is used for ceremonies.

In the same town is St Marys Arts Centre. This historic church is available for hire for all events – a must see for any couple looking for a blank canvas!

Your Kent Toastmasters pride themselves on getting to know as many venues as possible to support prospective couples.

Although based in East Kent Your Toastmasters certainly get around. On Sunday we travelled to South London to meet a prospective bride and groom whose wedding is at Addington Palace in Croydon. This sounds a great wedding with the prospect of Lady Toastmaster teaching the groom sabrage – the art of opening champagne with a sabre.
