We have trained to the highest standards of client care, protocol, procedure and etiquette so that you may be sure that all of your needs are met with professionalism and dignity. As Toastmasters we perform many duties. In order to make your event run smoothly we use our social, interpersonal and organisational skills. We want to ensure that you feel totally at ease, have trust in us and that every eventuality will be catered for.

- Meet you, the bride and groom, long before your wedding to discuss your plans
- Attend the ceremony – check out facilities, greet guests, greet the bride
- Greet groom and his best man to ensure all is well e.g. cravats, button holes and nerves!
- Have resources available to cover all eventualities – sewing kits, paracetamol, tissues, tights etc
- Guide bride after greeting her from her mode of transport
- Remind bride and groom on their responses to each other (previously discussed)
- Assist videographer/photographer to ensure everything runs to time
- At wedding breakfast assist bride and groom on arrival
- Organise receiving line
- Ensure all guests are seated and made to feel welcome
- Announce bride & groom to rapturous applause
- Announce speeches
- Assist with gifts/flowers presented by bride & groom
- Throughout meal/buffet liaise with venue staff to ensure times are adhered to
- Make any announcements that will ensure all guests are kept informed of proceedings i.e. speeches will begin in 10 minutes so there is an opportunity to have a comfort break, cake will be cut in 5 mins so cameras are ready etc
- Be at hand throughout day in times of unforeseen tricky moments that may occur – late arrivals, delays in proceedings, missing gift/guest book overlooked etc
- Announce cutting of cake
- Announce first dance
