We have trained to the highest standards of client care, protocol, procedure and etiquette so that you may be sure that all of your needs are met with professionalism and dignity. As Toastmasters we perform many duties. In order to make your event run smoothly we use our social, interpersonal and organisational skills. We want to ensure that you feel totally at ease, have trust in us and that every eventuality will be catered for.

Jonathan and Nikki will ...

• Meet you, the bride and groom, long before your wedding to discuss your plans
• Attend the ceremony – check out facilities, greet guests, greet the bride
• Greet groom and his best man to ensure all is well e.g. cravats, button holes and nerves!
• Have resources available to cover all eventualities – sewing kits, paracetamol, tissues, tights etc
• Guide bride after greeting her from her mode of transport
• Remind bride and groom on their responses to each other (previously discussed)
• Assist videographer/photographer to ensure everything runs to time
• At wedding breakfast assist bride and groom on arrival
• Organise receiving line
• Ensure all guests are seated and made to feel welcome
• Announce bride & groom to rapturous applause
• Announce speeches
• Assist with gifts/flowers presented by bride & groom
• Throughout meal/buffet liaise with venue staff to ensure times are adhered to
• Make any announcements that will ensure all guests are kept informed of proceedings i.e. speeches will begin in 10 minutes so there is an opportunity to have a comfort break, cake will be cut in 5 mins so cameras are ready etc
• Be at hand throughout day in times of unforeseen tricky moments that may occur – late arrivals, delays in proceedings, missing gift/guest book overlooked etc
• Announce cutting of cake
• Announce first dance

Jonathan and Nikki, as professional toastmasters work for you - the bride and groom to make you feel special on your wedding day. 

These take a lot of careful planning and Jonathan and Nikki can support and advise you to make your dreams come true.  After an initial meeting they are then on hand until your second meeting closer to the big day itself where they will finalise your all details. 

As your wedding toastmasters Nikki and Jonathan will attend your wedding rehearsal (if available) and be at your actual ceremony an hour before it begins. Your toastmasters will support you, your wedding party, family and guests throughout the day until your first dance.

Your wedding toastmasters wear black tails at your church ceremony, red tails at your wedding reception and wedding breakfast and make all required announcements in a style that suits you.

A wedding is a complex occasion involving many suppliers and through good humour, hard work and common sense Nikki and Jonathan  ensure that all is as it should be on your behalf.

Jonathan and Nikki are both Maitre Sabreurs and members of the Confrerie du Sabre d'Or which means they can both teach and perform this noble art.

Any special event however large or small can be enhanced by flashing the blade.  Commemorative  certificates are awarded to those who choose to participate.

Family & Corporate Events

There are many types of events that can be organised such as award ceremonies, corporate dinners, film nights and garden parties. These all require pre planning and hosting on the day. As a husband and wife team Your Toastmasters and Masters of Ceremonies can work on your behalf so that you are free to meet and greet your guests sound in the knowledge that all your plans will come to fruition making the event the success you wish to achieve.

Charity Events

As a nation we are generous with both donations and time. Your Toastmasters understand the need to make such events run smoothly.
